Louis Battey, Jr., MD

Dr. Battey received his medical degree from the Emory School of Medicine after earning his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals and served as chief resident in medicine for Grady Hospital. Dr. Battey served as a senior associate in medicine at Emory University Hospital Midtown's Carlyle Fraser Heart Center (formerly named Crawford W. Long Hospital of Emory University) from 1984-1999 and has been with Piedmont Healthcare since 2000. He is board certified in internal medicine with a cardiovascular disease subspecialty.
