Mikhail Alekseyevich Zhukalin, DO

Dr. Mikhail (Misha) Zhukalin attended Boise State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with honors. He completed his medical education at Des Moines University, receiving a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. Zhukalin completed his residency training in Physical Medical & Rehabilitation at Emory University, where he received several honors and awards, including a resident of the year (2014), best resident research (2013, 2014), and served as a Chief Resident (2014-2015). He then completed an additional year of subspecialty training in Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine at Northwestern University and Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago before returning to Atlanta to join Emory Orthopaedics and Spine Center.
