Richard Fullerton, Jr., MD

Dr. Fullerton earned his medical degree from the University of Florida. He completed his residency in family practice at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory University. Dr. Fullerton has been on staff with Piedmont Hospital since 1984 and served as the director of the hospitalist program from 1993--2007. In addition to practicing as a hospitalist, Dr. Fullerton was in a private internal medicine practice until 1996 when he joined Piedmont Physicians Group.
