Lutheran Church of the Redeemer was founded in Atlanta in 1903. It is a member of Southeastern Synod of the ELCA. Our current sanctuary was built in 1951 and a world class Leternou pipe organ was added later. There is a vibrant children’s ministry, choir and music program, and many small groups. Redeemer is an active partner with a number of community nonprofit organizations. The Lutheran Community Food Ministry has been serving a weekday meal at 10:30 in our fellowship hall (entrance off 4th Street) since 1982. Redeemer is also home to the Midtown Lutheran Preschool.
