AMIS (Atlanta Ministry with International Students) is the French word for "friends" and describes our mission to promote cultural and global understanding through friendship and hospitality with international students and scholars in the greater Atlanta area. We welcome and connect international students with local American friends through our many programs and events. We welcome volunteers to join our Amigo International Friendship program to support international students and scholars at Georgia Tech, Emory, Georgia State, and others in metro Atlanta. Since 1978, we have held an annual Welcome Reception for international students and scholars every fall. Join us!
