Dr. Oskouei is involved with numerous projects involving musculoskeletal tumors. In collaboration with the Winship Cancer Institute, his team is looking at specific markers to develop drugs against sarcomas and is establishing a database of sarcomas at Emory. Dr. Oskouei is also on two separate national teams to design the orthopaedic implants of the future. He is looking at advanced biomaterials and trying to develop ways to make soft tissues attach more readily to orthopaedic implants.
